Daily secretaries and receptionists often miss hours of the day confirming appointments over the phone. To use confirmation via Whatsapp, the user must access the confirmation menu of Ninsaúde Apolo, where all appointments that have not yet been confirmed will be listed. By pressing the Whatsapp icon, the system opens a conversation with the patient containing an automatic message (which can be changed before sending) and a link. Through this link, the patient will confirm or cancel the appointment, and from his reply, the status of the appointment is changed automatically.
Ninsaúde Apolo also has confirmation via SMS, where text messages are triggered to patients who have an appointment not yet confirmed. This application has no additional cost and is very practical, however, SMS messages have a low opening rate compared to messages via Whatsapp.
This is because the use of SMS has decreased significantly and people associate this type of service with advertisements, charges, spam, etc. For this reason, confirmation via Whatsapp has been a very effective solution, in addition to having no additional costs for either clinics or patients, since that to use it, you just need to be connected to the internet.
