From this Tuesday, April 14, 2020, Ninsaúde Apolo has a novelty: the telemedicine tool.
The Brazilian Minister of State for Health authorized on March 20, through a memorandum sent to the Ministry of Health, the use of telemedicine during the COVID-19 pandemic, a disease caused by the new coronavirus. The measure has an exceptional character, valid until the end of the fight against the spread of the new disease.
For the comfort and safety of our customers, the Ninsaúde team has developed a tool whereby the health professional, when attending a patient, can start a web conference fully integrated with Apolo.
With this functionality, patients and healthcare professionals can interact with audio and video in real-time, and while providing care, healthcare professionals can make their observations on the electronic medical record.

It is worth mentioning that the video is not saved in Apolo, and it is necessary to make sure that the webcam and microphone are connected so that there is perfect communication between both patient and physician.
Both the patient and the health professional will also be able to participate in the web conference using their smartphones.
How does it work?
After logging into your Ninsaúde Apolo account, the health professional should access the medical records screen, where he usually writes the patient's progress.
Above the evolution history, the health professional will be able to view the message about COVID-19 where he should click on "start the service". Once this is done, the system opens a window through which the image and sound of the health professional will be captured, who must send the invitation to the patient via WhatsApp or email. To do this, just click on one of the options. After the patient receives the invitation, he must click on the link sent to him to participate in the video call.
