Medical software: access history report and its advantages
With the medical software Ninsaúde Apolo, it is possible to have access to several reports and graphs where it is possible to analyze the performance of health professionals, the financial situation of the clinic, and some data about the users of the system.
Among the available options, there is the access history report to the system, an important tool for administrators of the clinic or office. With this report, it is possible to select specific users and thus have the information of when, and at what time he accessed the system and even their location, this from their IP address.
Just a pause before we continue, did you know that the Ninsaúde Apolo clinic and office management system is perfect for health clinics? We always work with new improvements, discover exclusive advantages here.
What is the importance and advantages of this report?
The purpose of this report is to monitor the accesses made to the system, so if an employee logs in outside office hours, the system administrator will have this information in hand.
The same applies if the employee is accessing the system after the work hours, such as when he is late, or even if he stops accessing it, as in this case his name will not be on the access list.
Having this information can assist the clinic administrator not only in making decisions regarding users of the system but also in legal proceedings. Let's exemplify below.
Suppose that a former malicious employee decides to file a labor lawsuit, where he claims to have worked for a certain period after office hours, but without being paid overtime. In this case, the clinic administrator will be able to generate a report containing information that the accesses were not made from the clinic's computers (since the cloud software can be accessed from anywhere), and thus will be able to prove that the individual is acting in bad faith.
Another example would be the case of an employee who is often late for work. If the clinic administrator finds it necessary to prove this attitude to give a warning or even dismiss him, he can use the report.
Therefore, for these and other reasons each employee must have their username and password to access the system because when situations of this type occur, it is through the history of accesses that we can identify them. In the medical agenda, there is also the possibility to view the history of an appointment, which will contain the information of who entered it in the system or changed the status, avoiding confusion at the reception.
How does the report work?
The user must access the Attendance menu, and then the Reports submenu. When accessing this screen, you should scroll the page and press on the option System access history.
The user name must be entered in the indicated field, being able to select as many users as you want at once. If you want to generate a report with access for all users, just leave this field blank. Then, select a period. If a period is not selected in the filter, the system will generate the report with information from the last thirty days.
As we can see in the example above, the report informs the user's name, the date and all times when he logged in to the system, and the location of the external IP. The external IP is the identification generated from the connection of your device to a network. Just like an identification number, each device generates a different identification protocol when connected to the internet, so there is no duplication of IPs between networks and devices.
See how easy it is to control access at the clinic? Now that you know how it works, just put the tips into practice.
